About Maury

I am a sixth generation Memphian and have been practicing massage since 1997.  I lived in Dallas for 16 years, where I worked in customer service at Cartier and Tiffany's before learning my craft as a massage therapist.  I always have had an interest in natural and holistic health.  I may have missed my calling as a nutritionist, but I preach to my family about good eating habits, and they call me the "food czarina"!

I am certified in barefoot massage, which is a perfect fit for me since I always was barefoot as a child, and I love to move and dance.  I have studied ballet as a hobby since 1992, and I love to spend time skiing in Telluride, Colorado with the Telluride Adaptive Ski Program.  I am legally blind with Retinitis Pigmentosa so I am unable to drive, but with great acuity I can read books and work online just like anyone else.  I am drawn to small communities like Telluride and Harbor Town because they are beautiful, pedestrian friendly neighborhoods.
